“Matching HUB Hokuriku” aims to revitalize the Hokuriku region by creating new industries and fostering human resources. It began as a regional collaboration event combining industry, academia, government, and finance in 2014, and this year marks its 11th edition. Each year, approximately 1,600 participants attend.
On the first day, a lecture session was held, and on the second day, 192 panel exhibitions introducing companies, universities, and organizations took place, fostering active networking and matching opportunities. This year marked our university’s first participation, and about 70 individuals visited our booth, showing interest in the new university name, industry-academia collaboration systems, and participation in the Expo. We had the opportunity to engage in discussions with representatives from industry, government, academia, and finance from not only the Hokuriku region but also across the country, and we hope to build future collaborations.
Additionally, at the Matching Pitch held on the exhibition stage, we wore university-branded happi coats to promote the new university name and shared the concept of the University Castle Town Initiative. We expressed our desire to collaborate with the Hokuriku region and build a mutually supportive relationship.
