DOIC Metaverse Co-Creation Tour [Feb 25, 2026] Breaking the Limits of Automation: Implementing Human-Collaborative Robotics
The Digital Open Innovation Campus (DOIC) continues its mission beyond the Expo 2025, acting as a hub for cutting-edge technology. We are accelerating open innovation through monthly technology co-creation tours held in the DOIC Metaverse.
The February DOIC Technology Co-Creation Tour will focus on “Smart Manufacturing & Robotics.”
As labor shortages intensify in manufacturing, the challenge is no longer simple automation. How can we implement robots that coexist with and support people on the factory floor?
On February 25, leading universities and research institutions—including the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST)—will present cutting-edge technologies such as collaborative robotics, soft robotics, and industrial AI that are transforming manufacturing sites.
If you are unable to attend live, registered participants will receive access to the archived recording (English subtitles planned).
